What Is A Microphone Mount

A microphone mount is a metal or plastic tool that attaches to your desk or a stand and holds your microphone so you don't have to hold it and your hands are free.

A great benefit of a microphone mount is that they are adjustable and you can talk into the microphone comfortably and be comfortable.

Another benefit you get from a microphone mount is that if you find a good and comfortable place for it, your audio will always be consistent course and course and video to video.

Is There Anything Bad About A Microphone Mount?

Microphone mounts that attach to your desk can ruin the wood on your desk so you have to be careful how and where you attach it. Also, if you can a flimsy microphone mount, it may break and your microphone may fall and break. Or even worse, your microphone may fall on the laptop that is also likely on your desk and break that took.

Of course, when you get a microphone, you also need a pop filter to make the sound as good as the microphone can possibly give you without any artifacts in the audio. Pop filters are cheap, but they are easy to forget and neglect. If you don't get one, you may get unexpected sounds on letters like "p" which will sound unusual. You may also want to invest in acoustic foam to make your audio even more clear.
